Air Miles Cancels Controversial Expiry Policy

Air Miles is cancelling an unpopular expiry policy that was set to start at the end of this month.. The Air Miles reward program said Thursday it is cancelling its plan to implement an expiry policy, which was set to take effect on Dec. 31, 2016. The company said feedback from its users and an "uncertain legislative environment" convinced it to make the decision.

I gave it a final try an hour ago and bingo scored an extra ticket.

I for one was very relieved with Air Miles retracting their rule about using up those air miles. I had quite a few to use up and the clock was ticking - stressing me out! So glad they changed their mind but feel sorry for those who wasted them on stuff they didn't care about because they felt they had to, not fair really but glad I procrastinated this time!

Been to a few high end malls like that one RL (probably that one too) but they have such ridiculous prices it's a waste of time for most, even if I could afford it I would rather give my money to the many animal rescues etc etc than to pay out $2000 + for a purse or shoes I don't need!!!! If you have that much to blow and you won't give any to people or animals in need well I won't put in print what I would call you!!!

That sucks, BWW. I had just a few left, but there was nothing I really wanted. Rodent mentioned something for Christmas & I took a look on the air miles site & they had what she wanted, so i used up the would be expiring points to get her this for Christmas. I feel bad for those who had a lot & had to use them up in haste.

if you mean leather RL, I don't buy purses or shoes made of cow skin, not since I've become more informed..........you don't have to buy leather, there are other options
