It appears I have 4 pairs of black socks and 1 brown sock.
The question, of course, becomes how did that sock turn
itself brown and what is his partner plotting against me?

Afternoon Q sters,
It's the last Friday of the year. Everybody ready to ring in the new year. Hopefully it will be better than this year for artists & celebrities. Such a tragic loss for all.
Remember, no drinking & driving.NASCAR SEASON is complete for 2021.

Wishing all my Q'ster friends a very Happy New Year! Hope it is a very healthy and prosperous one for everyone!
Feeling unknown and you're all alone, flesh and bones by the telephone,
lift up the receiver, I'll make you a believer!
Take second best, put me to the test, things on your chest, you need to confess!
I will deliver, you know I'm a forgiver!

G=8 Pi T
Einstein's equation states that you can compute the curvature of spacetime by multiply the energy,
mass, and momentum, T by 8 Pi, and you get the curvature of space at that point.
There's a problem with "The Big Bang Theory".
The problem is ....... we shouldn't be here.
If the bang was very big after 14 billions years we should be
so far apart everything would be cold and frozen.
If the bang wasn't very big gravity should have caused the
universe to compress back on itself .
But the universe is right on the edge, it's still gently expanding, not too
fast and not too slow, just how does an explosion arrange that?
The key is the amount of matter and energy in the Big Bang.
To get gentle expansion the density of this matter has to be precisely right.
Precise to 100 decimal places.
Something or someone set up the universe in the precisely the right way...right from the beginning.
Next up: why the laws of physics ARE NOT constant!
In the early universe light traveled much faster than it does today.
This is only possible if energy is created and destroyed.
Not just converted from one form into another.
WHAT!
Yep.
( so, oh ya, I want my physics marks adjusted up since everything they taught me is WRONG) !!!!
a new force repulsive gravity , anti-gravity, is blowing the universe apart
in the beginning was the void
but the void was not nothing
and there was light
and the light changed
and so the void brought forth the world
and the world was good
for it endured until men could comprehend it

Fascinating article on the fiery destruction of downtown Toronto in April 1904. Many of the pictures are reminiscent of the aftermath of a massive air raid. Hope the pics will show here - if not I'll include the link.
On the night of April 19th, 1904 and the morning of April 20th, 1904, a Toronto fire decimated downtown Toronto and took with it over 100 buildings in the industrial and commercial area in what would now roughly be Esplanade/Front Street to the south, King Street to the north, University to the west and Yonge street to the east.
“The Great Fire” was suspected to have started from a faulty heating stove or an electrical problem but the exact cause was never found. 17 fire halls, two engine companies and one hose company were brought in after a policeman on patrol saw the flames coming from the E & S Currie Limited’s neck wear factory at 58 Wellington Street West, just west of Bay Street (now TD Bank Tower). It took them 9 hours to control the blaze.
