Good morning fellow Canucks!

ecat and Knottythots were discussing HMV and that reminds me that I received an HMV gift card for Christmas. So after work I will pop into my local store and do a little shopping.
If I see some deals, that would be awesome, but the main goal is not to let the gift card go to waste. I'm sure some album will pop out at me and say "buy me! buy me!"

Tomorrow and Saturday Long & McQuade is having a sale. That store is dangerous to me, as in the last year, I purchased two decent guitars and an amp for me and my son. Some of you have seen my son perform on me Facebook videos. I don't need a new guitar, but perhaps trade my old bass for a newer higher end bass, or a nice amp, or something.

Ahh, I better not go. My wife is starting to get tired of the "but it followed me home..." saying.

Kenrod – yea use up that gift card as, after February they are no good. My wife has so many different gift cards that last week I bought her a business card holder so she could keep them together and start using them up. The problem is she works in a school and at Christmas, and at the end of the school year she gets all these gift cards. She must have 30 Starbucks and Tim Horton cards and we don’t drink coffee and really don’t like the smell so we avoid them. I heard Starbucks might start serving beer in a few locations that we could help.

don't know about the other cards, kenrod but you can register the tim's cards and then merge all the money onto 1 instead of having many difference cards.

I don't drink coffee either, but do love the hot chocolate & some of their soups & sandwiches are good. You can use the card for anything they sell.

With buying motorcycles I found it's better to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission.

She can also sell them on Kijiji.... We often buy giftcards for 70% - 80% of face value - especially ones from the Keg.... something to think about - just be safe selling on kijiji....
