Good afternoon fellow Canucks!
Just a couple of short hours to go before 5:00 happens! Yay for us!!!
Last night's band jam went well. I didn't make very many noticeable mistakes, and my son actually picked up a bass and played a song. I don't have the videos on YouTube yet, but those of you who are friends with me on FB can see the videos on my wall.
Have an awesome weekend folks!
I hope you're all enjoying your day. It's Friday. :)
Whitby's Ribfest is this w/end. Yeah !!!
I hope your w/end is as good as mine's going to be. :)

Good Sunday Morning Everyone.
Enjoy the sunshine before it begins to rain later this afternoon.
I vividly remember my first night playing out in Hamilton. It was at a small club and I was 18 and my sister who was 16 played sax with me that night.
We both had to get special permission to play from the Hamilton Musicians Guild under the strict proviso that we were not allowed to drink any alcohol. Luckily our drummer that night was 40 and he was put in charge to ensure that we were not to drink any alcohol.
The night went great and as young as we were, we received a standing ovation from the crowd who were all aware of our underage drinking status.
It was a night that I will always remember. I went on to play 40 more years in many other bands and numerous solo engagements before I finally decided that I had enough and wanted to spend more time with my growing family. It was a great experience that I will always remember.
Enjoy the experiences with your son. It is something you will never forget.
Good luck to your son in his future musical endeavours. He sounds like he may have a good future in music.
Cheers!
The day they turned the falls off.
