Back from camping had a blast. We had the perfect camping site. We are going next year. They have a music festival July 14, 15, and 16th. You need to make reservations in January or February. It will be totally booked otherwise. It is at Guelph Lake Conservation Area. This place rocks. Met some wonderful people and beautiful dogs.

Heat wave continues...
After sweating through the weekend, you can expect to do more of the same today as the heat wave continues. The high is expected to hit 31 degrees but the humidity will make it feel about 10 degrees hotter.
A heat warning remains in effect -- basically that means you should take it easy if you do have to be outside and stay hydrated. The same is expected for tomorrow but by the end of the week we'll be back to more seasonal values of 20 degrees or so.

Most of the focus yesterday was on the American presidents comments about NFL players – he said anyone kneeling during the national anthem should be fired. That sparked action on the field: about 150 players sat, knelt, raised their fists in defiance or linked arms.
Trump says he's not backing calls for a league boycott.
The protests started over a year ago when former 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick refused to stand during the anthem as a protest of police treatment of minorities.

Jose Bautista looked up, tears welling in his eyes, as he thought about his curtain call in the ninth inning of Sunday’s game.
Bautista, in what was likely his final home game in a Toronto uniform, had two hits, drove in one run and scored another to help lift the Blue Jays to a 9-5 win over the New York Yankees.
The 36-year-old signed a one-year contract with the Blue Jays prior to the 2017 season, a deal which includes a mutual option for 2018 that’s unlikely to be picked up.
