A new poll suggests most Canadians don't want to follow a path similar to the US, but the appeal of a ``Canada First'' approach remains.
The Canadian Press surveyed nearly five-thousand Canadians between September 15th and October 1st. More than 60 per cent of respondents said they don't want a ``Canada first'' foreign policy, similar to US President Donald Trump's ``America first'' rallying cry. But the data also suggest more than a fifth of Canadians think the country should be more isolated -- a marked increase over recent years.
