I don't get the fascination with Roger Waters?
He is a decent bass player, he wrote the tunes, I get that part.
Gilmour and Wright made them Pink Floyd!
Roger can't sing worth sh|t, and never really did.
Gilmour did most of the PF vocals, and Richard did all those wonderful haunting backup vocals.
So you have the bass player from the original band producing an over priced theatrical show with a cover band.
If Gilmour comes back to town I will go in a heart beat.
Roger Waters is a has been.
Just my opinion.

World's eight richest people have same wealth as poorest 50%
A new report by Oxfam warns of the growing and dangerous concentration of wealth

The world’s eight richest billionaires control the same wealth between them as the poorest half of the globe’s population, according to a charity warning of an ever-increasing and dangerous concentration of wealth.
In a report published to coincide with the start of the week-long World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Oxfam said it was “beyond grotesque” that a handful of rich men headed by the Microsoft founder Bill Gates are worth $426bn (£350bn), equivalent to the wealth of 3.6 billion people.
The development charity called for a new economic model to reverse an inequality trend that it said helped to explain Brexit and Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election.

Oxfam blamed rising inequality on aggressive wage restraint, tax dodging and the squeezing of producers by companies, adding that businesses were too focused on delivering ever-higher returns to wealthy owners and top executives.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) said last week that rising inequality and social polarisation posed two of the biggest risks to the global economy in 2017 and could result in the rolling back of globalisation.
Oxfam said the world’s poorest 50% owned the same in assets as the $426bn owned by a group headed by Gates, Amancio Ortega, the founder of the Spanish fashion chain Zara, and Warren Buffett, the renowned investor and chief executive of Berkshire Hathaway.
The others are Carlos Slim Helú: the Mexican telecoms tycoon and owner of conglomerate Grupo Carso; Jeff Bezos: the founder of Amazon; Mark Zuckerberg: the founder of Facebook; Larry Ellison, chief executive of US tech firm Oracle; and Michael Bloomberg; a former mayor of New York and founder and owner of the Bloomberg news and financial information service.
Last year, Oxfam said the world’s 62 richest billionaires were as wealthy as half the world’s population.
However, the number has dropped to eight in 2017 because new information shows that poverty in China and India is worse than previously thought, making the bottom 50% even worse off and widening the gap between rich and poor.
Waters could never pull off a Pink Floyd song solo on stage.
He wrote a lot of it, but I am pretty sure he never even knew all the notes.
They kicked him out because he tried to write ALL the notes.
We lost the soul of PF with Richard.
They will never be again.
We can still enjoy their brilliance together!

Gilmour owns the guitar, Roger pays someone to play!
Takes two vocals to get it done. I like Davids!
Then again Eddie Vedder Kills it and Roger is there.

OK Eddie wins...

(a little too fast for me)
As a whole, the band was great together, but when the true creativity behind Pink Floyd is Roger Waters, why bash that?? The 3 albums that came out minus Waters were good (Division Bells being the best of those) but never truly lived up to the full collective of Pink Floyd! You can have the voices, the guitar, even Wright for all 3 of those albums (though we know he died way before the release of the last album), but without the haunting lyrics, you don't have Floyd! Outside of Comfortably Numb, Young Lust and Wish You Were here (all co-written with Gilmour/Waters and three of my all time favs), I still think the greatest thing Gilmour did was discover Kate Bush!
I love Floyd as a collective, but I love the songs that Waters made and although he may be rough at times, he still is a genius! MM, I am not attacking you in any way, I am just letting you know that some of us do appreciate Waters for everything he did with Floyd!
Habs! Love your opinion! Its for you, we are having a dialog.
Going out on a limb here...
Prince kills it, destroys any previous concept of what this guitar solo is about!
Then again George was the same.
