When a feeling comes to visit - shame, sadness, anger, doubt, fear - treat it as you would treat a precious, loveable child. Don't ignore it and don't smother it. Don't distract yourself and don't pretend it's not there. It has come for love.
Offer it your presence, your good attention. Breathe into its core, its heart. Listen to it. Make room for it, offer it the space of your being. Know it will only be here temporarily. Offer it sanctuary, oxygen, kin...dness, a place of safety. Allow it to express, breathe, rest, and pass. It is not a mistake, and it is not a punishment.

Gord Downie Mourned
Hundreds turned out for a candlelight vigil in Gord Downie's hometown of Kingston. They gathered to pay tribute to the lead singer of The Tragically Hip, who died on Tuesday night at age 53 after a battle with brain cancer.
Toronto’s mayor honoured Downie by illuminating city hall in red, while city buses carried the message ``Gord, we'll miss you.''
A few dozen residents in the town of Bobcaygeon also gathered to pay tribute to Downie, who put the town on the map after the song Bobcaygeon from the hip's 1998 album ``Phantom Power'' earned a Juno award for best single in 2000.
A moment of silence was held prior to the puck drop of the Leafs game at Air Canada Centre last night.

Raptors tip off season with tailgate party outside ACC
Thousands are expected to flood the Air Canada Centre and Jurassic Park tonight as the Raptors tip off their regular season. The Raps will host Chicago.
In usual MLSE fashion, a tailgate party will kick things off at 5:30pm. The Raptors finished second in the Eastern Conference last season -- one game back of Cleveland.

I'm a bit freaked because my niece Gwen is going to the University of Florida for Medical School and now they have allowed a guy who believes white people rule speak out . There is extra heavy police and security because there probably be protests against or for him. I hope my niece will be okay. positive vibes to you and all the students.
