North Korea says new missile puts all of US in striking range

State television said Pyongyang had achieved its mission of becoming a nuclear state. The Hwasong-15 missile, described as its "most powerful", was launched in darkness early on Wednesday. It landed in Japanese waters but flew higher than any other missile the North had previously tested. The test, which defied international sanctions imposed over the North's weapons program, drew swift international condemnation, with the UN Security Council due to convene an emergency session.

Equifax breach: number of Canadians impacted by cyber attack passes 19,000

Equifax Canada is now reporting more than 19-thousand Canadians were affected by a massive data breach earlier this year. The company says more than 11-thousand credit cards compromised in the attack were Canadian, in addition to the eight-thousand Canadian customers Equifax already knew had their personal information compromised. Hackers also stole the data of 145-million U.S. consumers and nearly 400-thousand Britons in the breach discovered in July.

Rally today for TFC at Nathan Phillips Square

A number of events happening across the city as Toronto F.C. fans hope their club can punch another ticket to the MLS final. They are home to Columbus at BMO Field tonight as the Eastern Conference final resumes. Ahead of that, Mayor John Tory will be on hand at Nathan Phillips square for a TFC rally --this comes just one day after Nathan Phillips square was home to a party honouring the GFL Grey Cup champion Toronto Argos. Another TFC party is happening in liberty village ahead of kick off tonight, which happens just after 5:30.

The only shopping I did on Black Friday was a new laptop which I have needed for quite a while, no sound on my other one, didn't line up for it but got $200 off. and got a 27" monitor as well.

Got lucky today and won a $1,000 voucher to use for a vacation with Redtag!!!

also won tickets to the One of a Kind Christmas show as well.
