The sometimes vocalist from Steve Hackett's Genesis Revisited - Nad Sylvan released a solo album last year and although the video is "iffy" the music is quite striking.
Here are his own comments on the vid
2017 is drawing to a close and so I thought I’d just pop by and give you a little background story to this video, which was filmed near Bournemouth in England, April 2017 (if my memory serves me right!).Anders Wollbeck - who co wrote this song with me had an idea of me revisiting the earth as an angel, as the song is a tribute to all the rock giants we lost in 2016. The thing was to have images from the 70’s and onwards of people like Bowie, Prince and etc blended in and not THAT much me. But, because of copyrights and time/budget restrictions - this is what we had to settle for. For me it comes out a little goofy in places, but in an endearing way. “Who else would pull off roaming about in a pair of angels wings?”, Anders said. I don’t know. Maybe these silly things come naturally for me. I don’t believe I could imagine Mr. Hackett doing it. Well maybe....if they were black. Happy New Year and lots of love,Nad
