Stormy Daniels says she was threatened to remain silent over alleged Trump affair
Donald Trump will now be shifting to damage control – the American president returned to Washington from his weekend at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, just as CBS aired Anderson Cooper's highly anticipated "60 minutes" interview with adult film star Stormy Daniels, providing details of her alleged 2006 affair with Trump.
Daniels says she feared for her safety after giving a 2011 magazine interview about the affair, which was never published. She says she had been threatened while in a parking lot on her way to a fitness class when a man walked up to her and said, "Leave Trump alone. Forget the story."

Gord Downie leaves mark on Juno Awards
It was a heart-warming affair for the family of the late Gord Downie at the Junos in Vancouver. His two brothers Mike and Patrick accepted a posthumous artist of the year award for the late Tragically Hip frontman.
There were also a number of tributes for Downie, who was described as a number of things to a number of Canadians. Downie spent his last years before his October death from brain cancer working to improve indigenous rights.
