Environment Canada issues wind warning for GTA
The miserable weather continues to be the big story in Toronto as the rain will be replaced with bitterly cold winds today. Environment Canada has issued a wind warning with gusts of up to 90-kilometres per hour with the temperature also set to drop significantly by the afternoon.
Hydro crews are warning that with winds that high for a prolonged period of time, outages in some areas are possible. Drivers are also being warned about some localized flooding this morning, given all the rain fall overnight.
