Good afternoon my Q friends.
Still going bonkers not being able to get around. My friend helped me plant my veggies in my rooftop garden. A little late but I think they'll be okay. My neighbor is watering my garden for me. Thank you both. I'll be able to do my gardening once I can walk again. Hopefully next week.

North America to host 2026 World Cup after winning vote over Morocco
Some breaking news out of Russia -- Canada has won the right to co-host the 2026 World Cup. FIFA's member associations have voted in favour of the joint North American bid by Canada, the U.S. and Mexico over that of Morocco.
The current blueprint calls for Canada and Mexico to stage 10 games each with the U.S. hosting 60, but that's not carved in stone. Toronto, Montreal and Edmonton would serve as Canadian host cities for the soccer showcase, expanded to 48 teams for the 2026 tournament. Morocco has now lost five bids.
The 2018 World Cup kicks off tomorrow in Russia with the host nation taking on Saudi Arabia.

Ford determined to scrap Ontario's 'disastrous' cap-and-trade system
Doug Ford will meet with industry representatives today to discuss the ongoing NAFTA negotiations. Meantime a spokesperson for the incoming premier says he’s determined to deliver on his campaign promise to scrap the ``disastrous'' cap-and-trade system and fight a federal carbon tax.
Ford's pledge is causing concern in Quebec, a province that introduced a cap-and-trade system in 2013 and shares a carbon market with Ontario and California. Ford and the Tories won a majority of seats in the Ontario legislature and is currently meeting with his transition team to select his cabinet and prepare for his official swearing-in on June 29.
