Good morning fellow Canucks!
I don't mind a little rain on a weekday. Anyhow, my lawn is turning brown, so it is just as well.
Have a great peak of the week folks.

About 2,100 customers still without power after spring storm
The city is continuing to clean up after a brief yet powerful storm caused widespread flooding and knocked out electricity across the city. Heavy rain began at around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and in less than 30 minutes, the storm brought down trees and power lines and caused flooding in various areas, including inside the Eaton Centre.
Police and hydro crews were out in full force on Thursday morning, continuing to clean up downed trees and repair hydro wires. About 9,000 Toronto Hydro customers were without power at around 10 p.m. Wednesday but power has since been restored to all but 2,100 customers.

Chrystia Freeland calls tariffs 'absurd' after meeting U.S. Senate committee
Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland will resume her anti-tariff push in Washington today. After denouncing what she called US President Donald Trump's “absurd” tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum during a meeting with the US Senate's foreign affairs committee, Freeland delivered a big foreign-policy speech while accepting a ``diplomat of the year'' award last night.
She forcefully argued for preservation of the world's rules-based order -- with or without the United States. Freeland is scheduled to be in Toronto late this afternoon for a meeting with Ontario Premier-Designate Doug Ford and Canada's US Ambassador David MacNaughton about the ongoing NAFTA renegotiations.
World Cup kicks off today
The world cup officially kicks off today with the host nation, Russia taking on Saudi Arabia in the lone opening day match. Hard to believe the Russians head into the game on a seven-game winless streak and have the lowest FIFA ranking of all 32 world cup teams at 70th, one up on Macedonia.
Kick off goes at 11am this morning.
