Canada, U.S., Mexico reach trade agreement under new name
After more than a year of negotiating a new North American Free Trade Agreement(NAFTA), Canada, the U.S. and Mexico have finally inked a trade deal.
Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland and United States Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer released a joint statement Sunday night announcing the new deal, which will be called the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
Of course the US has to be 1st.

Keesmaat commits to tearing down eastern portion of Gardiner Expressway
If Jennifer Keesmaat is elected mayor on October 22, you can say goodbye to the eastern portion of the Gardiner Expressway. The idea would be to then replace it with a grand boulevard. Keesmaat said tearing down the Gardiner east of Jarvis Street would benefit the waterfront and real estate in the area, as well as providing opportunity for economic development.
She also claimed that it would save up to $500 million, which would then be invested in transit. Incumbent mayoral candidate John Tory has previously committed to repairing the crumbling portions of the Gardiner Expressway, which Keesmaat was part of that committee to design the repairing of the Gardiner. Now she has decided it would be better to tear it down.
Blue Jays drop season finale to Rays
The Blue Jays' season is over. Ryan Yarbrough got his rookie-leading 16th win and the Tampa Bay Rays beat Toronto 9-4.
Over two stints totalling 11 seasons, outgoing manager John Gibbons went 793-and-789 with the Blue Jays.
Yesterday's game was managed by catcher Russell Martin, with help from some of the injured Blue Jay's players. Gurriel Jr was looking after the players on the field.

Survivors of the deadliest mass shooting in US history gathered for a private reunion in Las Vegas over the weekend. It was one year ago today when 58 people, including four Canadians, were killed at an outdoor music festival. Stephen Paddock opened fire from a window of the Mandalay Casino.
Survivors, victims' family members, first-responders and elected officials will offer prayers, songs and speeches in a sunrise ceremony, being held later this morning.
