Record-breaking temperatures expected on Wednesday
It’s shaping up to be another record setting day of weather in Toronto. We're looking at an afternoon high of 27 degrees, which would beat the previous October 10th record of 26 degrees set back in 1949.
To give you an idea just how mild that is -- the cold temperature record for this day is minus 5 and the average high for this time of year is about 15 degrees.

Advance voting begins, poll locations open until Sunday
Advanced polling begins today in Toronto. Voters can head to the polls during advance voting and of course, on Election Day (October 22nd) to cast their ballots for mayor, councillor, and school board trustee.
Advance voting runs from October 10th to the 14th from 10am to 7pm. You can vote at one of two locations in your ward or at city hall -- you will just need a government-issued document, such as a driver’s licence or photo ID card.

Because drummers sit at the very back of the stage during performances, it is often felt that they do not receive the recognition that they deserve and that they are unable to take their place in the spotlight with the rest of the band when they are on stage.
