It's back to the work grind. Not a bad weekend. Got all my chores done on Caturday, so Psunday I could relax. Did some reading, took the neighbour's dog out for a walk & fixed the stereo speaker. Now we have surround sound. Sounds good.

Municipal election day in Ontario

Voters across Ontario will head to the polls today to vote in the 2018 municipal election. In Toronto, polls open up at 10am and voters will decide which of the 35 candidates will be mayor, and who out of more than 250 candidates will win one of 25 councillor seats for the next four years. Polls will close tonight at 8pm.

'Halloween' sequel tops box office

Forty years after he first appeared in theatres, Michael Myers is still drawing huge audiences for a good scare. Universal Pictures said Sunday that "Halloween" took in an estimated $77.5 million in ticket sales from North American theatres. It captured first place at the box office with the second-highest horror opening of all time, behind last year's "It." It also marked the second highest October opening ever behind "Venom's" $80.3 million launch earlier this month.

Raptors host Hornets tonight

The Raptors, who are off to a 3-0 start to the season are back in action tonight, hosting the Charlotte Hornets at Scotiabank Arena. Kawhi Leonard sat out of Toronto’s 117-113 road win against Washington on Saturday to get some rest and should be back in the lineup tonight.

Okay, okay so why is it when you expect something to be difficult
it always turns out that way but when you expect something
to be easy, it isn't? It's difficult too.
So everything is difficult regardless of what you think.
This contradicts Murphy's Law which states
that everything that can go wrong will go wrong
because simple things have fewer things to go wrong.
So fewer things should go wrong.

In conclusion, life is difficult even when there is no good reason for it to be so.
