    Looking through my kitchen window this morning..I noticed something on beach ..wasnt sure from a distant ..i got very curious ..I got ready and down to beach i went to investigate..sure didn’t expect see so many mackerel around beach ..this is not a normal thing ...see mackerel coming in on beach like this ..apparently fishermen is saying ...there’s lots and lots of mackerel this year and now their washing in on beaches .

    Had a great night last night. My friend had their company Christmas get together at Mohawk Raceway. Enjoyed a great buffet dinner, watched a little harness racing, then took our $10 voucher to the casino & made it into $265.20. I was down to $3.35 when the machine said I got 15 free spins. During those spins, the money started adding up. Once the last free spin was done, so was I. I cashed out & that was it for me. A nice Christmas bonus. I'm not much of a gambler, so I wasn't about to take chances to try & win more, cause we all know what happens when we get greedy, POOF!, there goes the winnings. Was home by 11am & now up to go to work. Have a great weekend Q sters.

    Happy Monday Q sters,

    15 days left till Christmas.
    Yesterday my friend, his brother & step sister had to move their parents from the retirement home apartment, downstairs to Memory Care. Their father is getting very confused lately & was upsetting the other residents. The staff said he would need to be put in Memory Care, where he would receive one on one care to help him better. Their Mum is still ok, but it would be more upsetting if they separated the 2 of them. She will have more freedom to leave during the day to attend retirement activities, but will required to come back for meals & sleeping. Getting old, sometimes sucks. Hoping today will be a better day for them, as yesterday was very confusing for him. He was not a happy camper, when we left yesterday. We got all their things move, pictures up & the TV hooked up & working, before we left. Tried to put everything back in the same spots as they were upstairs to ease the stress. My friend will be calling his Mum later today to see how his step dad is. Hopefully he is better today after a good nights sleep.
