Now the 1st day back to work/school for everyone is over. Routine will now kick in for a while.
Yesterday's weather wasn't as bad as they were predicting. White stuff started coming in sideways around 12ish for about a half hour, then stopped. It was raining last night, there wasn't any freezing rain, unless it got cold last night & there's a skating rink on the roads this morning. That system seemed to bypass us for the most part. Hope everyone else faired as well. Today should be +6ish. Enjoy!

School bus cancellations

We’re in store for some pretty mild weather through the day but because of some frigid temperatures overnight, we have a few bus cancellations this morning. School bus service has been scrapped for students in Dufferin County as well as all Durham Student Transportation Services. All schools remain open though.

Man accused of crashing into Porsche dealership, vandalizing vehicles

Perhaps some anger management might benefit this guy. A driver has been arrested after crashing through the window of a Porsche dealership in the downtown core. It happened at Front and Parliament just before 11pm last night and caused quite a bit of damage to a few vehicles and the showroom floor. The driver was taken into custody and not long after police confirmed the crash was deliberate. Witness reports suggest the man was asked what he was doing and replied with "I’m just having a bad day." He faces a number of charges including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Predators shutout Maple Leafs

Pekka Rinne made 18 saves for his third shutout of the season and the 54th of his career as the Nashville Predators blanked the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-0 on Monday.
