What a beautiful day it was today. Was able to spend some of the afternoon outside getting the garden ready to plant veggies in a couple of weeks. Got some pruning done, grass cleaned up & it looks like the grass needs cutting, but will wait a bit longer before doing that.
Tomorrow looks the same as today, so if you can, get out & enjoy it before the wet stuff come back for Tuesday.

Look at this beautiful sunshine! This is what the weather should be like more often.

Raptors won their game yesterday to tie their series at 2.
St Louis Blues won yesterday to tie in their series 3-3 with the Stars.
Tonight could see the possibility of 2 teams being illiminated or the continuation in this round, BJackets & Avs. Both are down 3-2.

What a spectacular day we had yesterday! We have waited all winter and spring for a day like that. Now if we can get a decent run of sunshine that would be nice. It seems to rain every other day these days.

Boston beat Columbus tonight, 3-0, winning the series 4-2. They will be going up against Carolina in the Eastern Conference final.
Playing now are the Sharks & Avs. Sharks could take the series, if they win tonight.

Avs forced a game 7 last night, as they beat the Sharks 4-3 in OT.
Tonight will see game 7 between the Blues & Stars. The winner will meet the winner of game 7, between the Avs & Sharks, in the Western Conference final.

Good morning fellow Canucks!

Even though I am done with hockey for this season, I did watch the last bit of the Boston-Columbus game. I shouldn't have because it felt like I was watching the Leafs lose to the Bruins once again.

Today while driving to work from the 410, I saw the smoke from that high school fire that I heard about on TV this morning. Apparently there was a fire at this school yesterday as well. Anyhow, it must be bad if I could see the smoke.

As a kid you dream about your school burning down. As an adult I think that my son has an expensive guitar and saxophone at his school. That alone is enough to make me cry. From what I saw on TV, this school is in bad shape. I just think of the loss of property, and of course, the displaced students especially a month before summer vacation.

The sun is shining & should get in the double digits temps.

The Blues have advanced to the Western Conference final & they are a waiting the winner of the Avs/Sharks game tonight.
The Raptors won over the 76ers last night & have a chance to win their series Thursday night. Marlies won their series & move on to the Eastern Conference finals. Their opponent has yet to be decided in the Atlantic finals between the Charolette Checkers & the Hershey Bears.
