Happy Caturday Q sters,
What a difference a day makes. Yesterday it was warm, with some sunny breaks, then the winds came along, bringing with it rain last night & cooler temps. This morning is about 20 degrees colder than yesterday & here it will stay for at least the next week. Speaking of next week, next Caturday is Halloween. Finally on a Caturday, but with this pandemic, it is strongly recommended that the rodents shouldn't go out & parties will not happen. Also next Caturday the clocks will fall back 1 hour.
Dodgers took it to the Rays last night, in game 3 of the World Series, 6-2.
It was billed as a pitchers duel.
Instead, it was Walker Buehler‘s day, and Charlie Morton‘s day off. The Los Angeles Dodgers stud struck out 10 Tampa Bay Rays batters, becoming the first pitcher in World Series history to notch double-digit Ks in six innings or less, carrying the club to a 6-2 win in Game 3 on Friday and a 2-1 lead in the World Series.
Morton, despite his excellence all post-season long, gave up five earned runs on seven hits in 4.1 innings. Randy Arozarena was the lone bright spot for the Rays as he matched the record for the most home runs in a single post-season (eight) with his two-out blast in the final inning.
Justin Turner was also a star, hitting a solo home run, a double, scored 2 runs & made an excellent play, with his glove, in the 5th to turn a double play to end the 5th inning. Game 4 goes tonight at 8:08pm.
Have a great day & stay safe.

Happy Monday Q sters,
Back to work for some of us this morning. Wasn't too bad of a weekend, considering I had to work Caturday. This is the last week of Roctober & the weekend coming up will be a busy one, with Halloween, full moon, the clocks falling back& the beginning of Movember on Sunday.
From what I gather, Uncle Dougie may send Halton region back to a modified stage 2. Don't understand why people can't follow guidelines to curve this disease.
Have a great day & stay safe.
