Quick online shopping note for those requiring essential "non-essential" hardware stuff.

This afternoon, I discovered that not all Canadian Tire stores require a $25 minimum online order. The minimum is not for free delivery - it's for "free" curb-side pickup! That just seems like a gouge. Anyway, it was a great discovery because this time around, I only needed a $4.79 hose joiner!! It pays (saves?) to try other stores in your area if you run up against this minimum order requirement and don't really need to spend that much.

Walking around the store I can very easily spend that and more (hell, I can't get out of any hardware store for under $50) but online? Similar to Kenrod's point of view, the online experience just doesn't compare with actually perusing the aisles!

Wanted to share my discovery whilst we're no longer under stay-at-home order but still have no place to go!!

THEY DID IT! Canadiens beat the Jets in 4, with an overtime goal from Tyler Toffoli. What a great pass from Cole Caufield.

After Tyler Toffoli sent the Canadiens into the Stanley Cup semifinals with the winning goal in overtime, he went in search of rookie Cole Caufield, whose cross-ice pass made the score possible.
“He’s just a little guy, I couldn’t find him out there,” Toffoli said after the Canadiens edged the Winnipeg Jets 3-2 at the Bell Centre to complete a sweep of the best-of-seven North Division final.

Caufield is 5-foot-7, but he has been standing out in the crowd after watching the first two playoff games from the press gallery.
“He’s a lot better than what I was when I came into the league,” Toffoli said. “He’s just a great player. Every time the puck’s on his stick, something good happens.”
Caufield earned a reputation as a goal-scorer at the U.S. junior and college levels, but while he’s waiting for his first NHL playoff goal, he has shown an ability as a playmaker. He threaded a pass through the crease to set up Nick Suzuki for a power-play goal Sunday night, and he showed no hesitation on his pass to Toffoli.
