It is like me when I book a cruise, I watch Titanic and Poseidon Adventure. But I also watch The Love Boat as well.

Good morning fellow Canucks!

I heard the yellow alert on Q yesterday about a tornado warning in Barrie. I called my mom, who has a condo by the waterfront there, to warn her. She was telling me that it was sunny, but as I kept talking, she told me that the sky was turning darker quickly. She told me to call her back after the storm had passed. I was watching the weather radar for Barrie, and called her back when I saw the darker colours of the doppler radar over Lake Simcoe. At that time, I didn't realize that a tornado had touched down. My mom said that she could hear all kinds of sirens, but she couldn't see anything because the neighbouring condo buildings were in the way. It was after we finished our phone call that I heard about the tornado. My mom is fine, and my sister's family, who also live in Barrie were not affected.

Well folks, as of 5:00 I will be on staycation. Have a great weekend folks!

today was much more civilized, weather-wise!

got to go to a restaurant patio for dinner. there weren't many people dining indoors but the patio was full! hopefully, we'll keep going in the right direction.
