THE HAUNTED CONNECTION CONTEST (the “Contest”)

Official Rules and Regulations (the “Contest Rules”)

1. THE CONTEST PERIOD

The Contest entry period commences at 10:00 am Eastern Time (“ET”) on September 30, 2011 and concludes at 9:59 am ET on October 10, 2011 (the “Contest Period”).

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to residents of Ontario, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. Employees, directors and officers of Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, CFNY-FM, CILQ-FM, (the “Radio Station(s)”) and Corus Entertainment Inc. (the “Contest Sponsors”) any affiliate (as defined in the Canada Business Corporations Act) of the Contest Sponsors(the “Affiliates”) employees, directors and officers of their respective advertising and promotional agencies, as well as family members of any of the foregoing or those with whom they are domiciled are not eligible to enter the Contest. To be eligible, listeners must be registered members of The Inside Edge or Club Q (the “Clubs”). To join the Club, log on to www.edge.ca or www.q107.com (the “Websites”) and complete the online registration form in full. All previously registered members of the Clubs are eligible to enter.

3. HOW TO ENTER

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

Visit the Websites and complete an online Contest entry form in full.

Only one entry per person per day during the Contest Period is permitted. Multiple entries will be discarded. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are reproduced, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. Only one (1) Grand Prize will be awarded per Radio Station per person.

4. WINNER SELECTION

On October 10, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. ET, five (5) eligible entrants will be randomly selected as the winners of the Grand Prize, as described below. The potential Grand Prize winners will be contacted by a representative of the Radio Stations within one (1) day of the draw by telephone, as provided by the entrant in their Club registration form. Potential Grand Prize winners found to be ineligible, decline to accept the Grand Prize or who are unable to be contacted (including failing to return phone calls or emails) within five (5) business days of the draw will forfeit the Grand Prize and another eligible entrant will be selected.

5. THE GRAND PRIZE AND GRAND PRIZE VALUE

There are ten (10) Grand Prizes to be won, five for each Radio Station. Each Grand Prize consists of two (2) tickets to Canada’s Wonderland® Halloween Haunt to be used before by October 31, 2011. (the “Grand Prize”). The approximate retail value of each Grand Prize is $64.00 (CDN).

Chanterelle Mushroom and Bacon Tartlets





Ingredients:
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 tablespoons minced shallots
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups chanterelle mushrooms, finely chopped
1 tablespoon brandy
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh thyme
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese
2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
24 mini phyllo tart shells


Directions:
1 - Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). 2 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. 3 - Saute shallots until they begin to brown. 4 - Add garlic and mushrooms, and cook until tender. 5 - Deglaze pan with brandy, and season with thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper. 6 - Remove from heat, and allow to cool. 7 - In a large bowl, combine egg, milk, Swiss cheese, cream cheese, and bacon. 8 - Fold in mushroom mixture. 9 - Spoon evenly into phyllo cups, and place cups on baking sheet. 10 - Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until filling is set
