Just finished helping eldest daughter put the finishing touches on her Coors Lite beer can costume.
She is off to work at the pub.
I don't know where she is going to put her tips, and I didn't ask!

I will.... and if Dominik is able to get through to me, I will try to mention my friends from SC.... I'm having problems with my blackberry, so I hope he's able to get through...
Aye.... not the guy that I had my picture taken with today??? :P I'll post that one when I get back... :P I don't know if he was wearing it the "traditional" way or not.... :lolsign:
Soup & salad is what is being served in my house for dinner tonight.
I'm keeping it nice & simple. This recipe is from one of my mother's cookbooks. I always spice it up a little bit & add cardamom, a pinch of rosemary & a little bit of cayenne pepper...a little bit of garlic never hurts either.
I've been feeling chilly all day.

We were right there today.... Hubby mentioned when we got back to Leith that he was interested in the ghost tour, but I had no idea at the time... I'm a whimp when it comes to scary stuff, but I would have sucked it up and gone had I known that he wanted to go... since we're here already....
Hi All,
Today we did a walking tour of Edinburgh Castle.... I'm not sure if anyone heard Dominik talking about his tour of Castle Loma a little while ago, but he talked about getiing the audio tour that really made a difference, so we did that today at Edinburgh Castle.... I agree with him - it helped.... We did a bus tour after that to see a bit more of the city... Tomorrow it's back to Glasgow for the last two nights...
Hope everyone is enjoying their week-end!! :teeth:
I have been in many places, but I've never been in Cahoots. Apparently, you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone.
I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there.
I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips there, thanks to my friends, family and w*rk.
I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I'm not too much on physical activity anymore.
I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there too often.
I've been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm.
Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more often as I'm getting older.
One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense! It really gets the adrenalin flowing and pumps up the old heart! At my age I need all the stimuli I can get!
I may have been in Continent, and I don't remember what country I was in. It's an age thing.
For You, Lee03...

Happy Saturday friends
What a wonderfully busy day it has been.
I left early this am was back around noon for a few minutes,
and then was out and about & busy all afternoon.
Thanks for the trivia. I have to still enter it and for all the reps and PMs.
I have repped a few so far and will continue to do more soon!
Tomorrow is the NFL game at Sky Dome or what ever they call it.
My stepson who bought the tickets for us for his dad's birthday, received
an email from them that he forwarded to us. You will not believe this.

Budweiser Tailgate Rocks!
Sunday, October 30, 2011
11:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
The Budweiser Tailgate begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 3:30 p.m. on game day and provides an experience that stretches from east to west, north to south in the area surrounding Rogers Centre. The Budweiser Big Rig will be on site along with the Bud Girls, great music, tailgate-style food, prizes, giveaways and interactive elements including the Bills Toronto Series mechanical buffalo. Special appearances by the Buffalo Jills, Bills Alumni and Billy Buffalo will also help bring the spirit of a Bills tailgate to Rogers Centre.

The Budweiser Tailgate main stage - located outside of Gate 10 - will feature FINGER ELEVEN who will perform hit songs from their entire catalogue, including Paralyzer - their guitar-crunching anthem that made them a household name. They'll also perform songs from their sixth studio album, Life Turns Electric, nominated for Rock Album of the Year at the 2011 Juno Awards. Finger Eleven brings their trademark energy to the main stage starting at approximately 2:45 p.m. I happen to really like Finger 11, so it is a bonus for me.
Head down early to be part of the fun and tailgate, Toronto style. Please note that the beer garden begins serving at noon on game day.
I was told that the 'tail gate' party... is just a name. you have to buy the food there and it is very controlled unlike Buffalo.
GAME DAY INFORMATION:
Roof Status: Be prepared on game day for the roof to be closed. Rogers Centre is currently tracking weather patterns in the hopes that the roof can be opened for this fantastic match-up but it does not look likely that the weather will cooperate.
Entrance Gate & Seat Map: Gates open at 2:00 p.m. and ticket holders will go to the following entrances:
Needless to say, we will not be wearing red and blue. My husband is a huge Red Skins fan, in addition to being a major Patriots fan.
I am not sure if he will wear his Red Skins Jersey or not..
I will see you soon!
