i find that the newer the music gets the less creative it is becoming, most musicians now have been influence by someone and it is incorporated into their music, not always intentionally, but the more music comes out the harder it will get to be creative

Chicken Wings, Chili & Nachos & great big TV screens,
Beer & armchair commentary thus begins your football dreams,
Huddling, Tackling, Kicking & Time Outs,
Unnecessary Roughness, Field Goals, & even Football scouts,
Unbalanced lines & signals & linemen who are so offensive!
Grid Irons, First & Ten & Back Ends that are defensive,
Backfields, Clotheslines, Double Fouls, & Field Position,
Kickoffs & Man to Man, roll around in Fields of Mud,
Then everyone leaps on some poor guy & they all weigh a ton,
Strategic play & interceptions & all those lines to gain,
I’ve heard that stepping out of bounds can sometimes be a pain,
Quarterbacks, Halfbacks, Safety & Receivers,
Cheerleaders shaking their pompoms for all football believers,
Whatever the weather the game goes on proline players are smiling,

I agree with you... Some of the music my daughter listens to,
I often fin myself saying...
that is sounds like.... another song from when I was in my teens...

Same thing happens with women's perfume....
Often when I am in department store or even at Shoppers they want to spray a 'new' scent on me...... I do not let them...
I do not want to be stuck with a scent that makes me sick...
Also more than likely it smells like some other scent I already have.

I bought Obsession by Calvin Klein years ago in NYC...
A year or so later I was somewhere and smelled Cartier (the original scent)
I never wore Obsession again...as it smelled cheap by caparison
... and I still wear the Cartier perfume...
