Have been busy with things around here....
Linens washing day.....
I love to shake out our duvets and comforters when ever
I can, outside....

I need a mega phone to hear her.... for now....
and it makes me happy.
This am I was petting her behind the ears and bent over,
& placed my head/ear right against her body and I heard
this faint purr.
Obviously, I am thrilled!

I was not able to rep last night, so I am on my way to do so.

It was over 12 degrees earlier, and it got very dark..
The temp dropped to 8 & is now out and the temp is heading upwards...

Good luck winning the trip today....
Though I am hoping the trip is in my name....

Happy Psych-Psunday, Everyone...
Yesterday was... Interesting... to say the Least.

I called my Buddy, Who was coming over for Dinner.
I Learned that my Dear Helen was not doing too well and may need to go to the Hospital(!!!!).
She was having some difficulty in Breathing, but She was ADAMANT about not going (to the Hospital).
The Wife and I Rushed over when we heard... Helen then went for a Rest.
We Spent the Majority of the Afternoon over there and a nice Chunk of the Evening (when She went to Bed).

My Buddy is Her Son and it is His Birthday today.

Well, there is this Particular Chinese Food Place that Helen Absolutely Loves and She had already made Plans to Order a Load of Food (for today) and have a Group over for a Birthday Dinner. Several of us have Chipped-In and are just waiting for later.
I have the Money, so when Helen's Daughter calls in the Order, I will go Collect it.
{For the Record: when Other Guests are Involved, I will Eat last to Ensure that Everyone Else gets a Helping (or two). I have gone without in the Past when there was not enough. I am Good with that... that is just the Way I am. }

I Think Dear Helen would be able to Stand Her Ground to an Oncoming, Speeding Mac Truck and WIN... She will NOT be Denied Her Son's Birthday and the Feast that shall Accompany it!!!!
That is just the Way She is. LOL!!!!

She is doing much better, THANKFULLY!!!!!!!!
They might be able to "Convince" Her to go to the Hospital after today (if Needed). LOL!!!!

Sadly, there may not be a lot of Time left for My Dear Helen, so we are All Selfishly Absorbing each and every Moment that She so Happily Shares with us.

So, I am getting my Chores done Today that I had put aside Yesterday.

Wine & garlic overload can leave a girl’s head feeling foggy,
A night out with the girls & a most delectable feast,
Conversation, complaints & giggles to say the very least,
A quaint & exquisite restaurant what a place to reconnect,
Catching up & dishing dirt as one just may expect,
All sharing in the sanctity of the abundance of our youth,

Not a care about assignments, that were due on Monday,

Just a group of ladies, who once wore training bras,

While she was "flying" down the road yesterday (10 miles over the limit), a woman passed over a bridge only to find a cop with a radar gun on the other side lying in wait.

The cop pulled her over, walked up to the car, and with that classic patronizing smirk we all know and love, asked, "What's your hurry?"

To which she replied, "I'm late for work."

"Oh yeah," said the cop, "what do you do?"

"I'm a rectum stretcher," she responded.

The cop stammered, "A what? A rectum stretcher? And just what does a rectum stretcher do?"

Well," she said, "I start by inserting one finger, then I work my way up to two fingers, then three, then four, then with my whole hand in. I work from side to side until I can get both hands in, and then I slowly but surely stretch, until it's about 6 feet wide."

"And just what the hell do you do with a 6 foot asshole?" he asked.
