Low quality pot keeps man out of jail

A Swedish man escaped jail time on a marijuana possession charge when it was determined his pot was of low quality.
The 35-year-old got off with just probation and a $75 fine after he admitted he'd grown the stuff but convinced the court its potency had been sapped because he'd stored it in his attic, reports The Local.
He did have enough cannabis plants in his possession to warrant time behind bars, according to the report. But he argued they contained a low level of THC -- the active ingredient in pot.
The court was convinced and never bothered to test the plants.

Hope everyone enjoyed their day.

The chocolate birthday cake went over really well (which is a dangerous thing, since I'll now be expected to bake for people too!). I poured some melted chocolate in a cookie cutter I placed on the top of the cake, then stuck it in the fridge to set. My friend just about died of laughter when she saw the design on the cake (she's a doggy person with a bit of a sarcastic streak, so I thought a fire hydrant was appropriate ). I also made chocolate pudding from scratch, served in teeny containers (about 2-3 bites) that was a hit.

Someone is calling my name, better go check on the short one (tall one's already in bed).

I find that this Message is... "available"... when the Switch Board is "closed".
a.k.a. "no longer taking Calls"
Basically, it means to me that "they have a Winner" and Close the Lines.

Wow, you guys sure seem to be getting into the x-mas stuff early, actually I guess it's not really that early the stores have been doing it for weeks. The rush has sure started at the malls and downtown though!!!!

I went downtown (yonge & dundas) yesterday around 1 p.m. to eat at this chinese place I had a coupon for which would run out by this Wednesday. We were really hungry but when we got there we discovered they had closed up on Friday, I think they got kicked out because of lack of rent payments!!!! Damn what timing! Spend an hour out there and then went out to Vaughn Mills Shopping Mall, I had to pick something up for myself they had on hold (long story) so we looked around there until 9 p.m. I've never been to that mall but it seemed pretty good for deals, but the place was packed for parking spaces etc. Yes, I believe the season to go crazy has arrived!!!!
