good morning all, what a day yesterday was:
arrive at work 7:20
clean out truck box and float construction garbage
load float with everything we can find to move into new shop, all my tools, welder ect...
go over set up shop get everything in order
go get a second load which isnt much and the mini loader
go back to shop and to do rear brakes, pads and discs, one of the calipers has 'half' a cup that pushes against pad, get a drive into stouffville and buy another one, get back put it on and it fits but brake line doesnt seem to look right, they gave me the wrong side but it still works and i am stranded, bleed system but brakes still have spongy feeling, sure enough other caliper is leaking, i am at aurora rd and past highway 48, call a cap and go to stouffville canadian tire, get the other caliper, go back redo both brakes properly. by the time i get home its 9, needless to say i am tired and fed up, lost the mood to do anythng.Last edited by crazyredneck; Sun, Dec 11th, 2011 at 07:22 AM.

Good morning, everyone.
I'm really feeling my age this morning (assuming it's somewhere around 98!). H Team & Lee03 got to see the tourists in my neighbourhood - it's quite entertaining to watch people try to park who really have no clue. The concert was fun, although I really really really miss the comfy couches. 4 hrs of dancing/standing while being pummelled by an overly enthusiastic but terribly uncoordinated (spasmatic?) dancing fan took a toll on me. Today should be a do-nothing day....except the treat dispensers are supposed to come by to check out the Xmas market. Gonna have to bribe the critters to tidy up & make the bed.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Santa pancakes for brekkie with a beard made from whipped cream,
Start your day with a sugar jag, cause Christmas is the theme,
Do some psychedelic rockin' around your Christmas tree,
Did Eric Clapton do a Christmas album, I'll have to check & see,
Are there any Christmas songs that you find just plain annoying?
Or are you a go-with-flow type & find all of them enjoying?
There are so many Christmas traditions & many yummy treats,
Remember when you go shopping to hang on to your receipts,
It's also quite alright if it's that Christmas sweater you're wearing,
As long as it isn't bold, cause they can be overbearing,
Enjoy your day & be careful if you brave the shopping menagerie,
& remind yourself that it's the time of year for camaraderie.

Good morning Andi! Sorry to abandon you guys on the dance floor but I had had my fill of the pummelling. I watched the band from the back, behind the sound board.
Big Sugar did not disappoint, they opened strong and kept it going hard for about an hour. At that point they went into a set of slower tunes that seemed to go on for about 20 minutes, so since it was about 2330 I got a jump on the traffic. I never did hear Keep The Lights On, betting that was the closing number, but it was on the "Best Of" CD that I picked up at the bar. I popped into a mensa games night that I knew would still be going, hung out there until 0230. Today will be slow, probably try to get some writing done.
