Happy New year kids... it was a fun time last night. we went to Johnny Roccos. Made reservations but were still kept waiting over an hour. I asked if we could at least get the kids something to snack on, the manager sent over a pizza and chips and bought a round then we got our own private room with a big screen tv so the fellas could watch the game.. rang the new year in in the garage.. all was good!!! ps..nice poem Loocie

Had a great day yesterday celebrating Declan's 10th birthday. We went to see Sherlock Holmes, had a nice dinner than to friends to party into the new year. They were nice enough to invite us all to spend the night (so no worrying about grabbing a taxi home). Ended up staying until 4pm this afternoon!
I hope that everyone enjoyed ringing in the new year and wanted to extend my best wishes for a happy, safe and healthy new year.

My daughter received a new x-box 360 as my stepson reconfigured the other one we have to have much greater memory, only you could not connect to the internet..
We bought her Kinect, and the mic is so sensitive, I was talking to the cats and some one wanted to know what I was serving for dinner.... My daughter was warned and we keep telling her not to give out any personal info. She doesn't use her real name..
and you never know who is on the other end... of this Kinect.
Time for dinner..... steak and Lobster....

hope everyone enjoyed their new year's eve & didn't feel bad this morning. sure rained a lot today & the the winds are a howling tonight.
spent today clearing all the furniture & boxes out of rodent's room & took down all the trim & base boards. tomorrow i'll paint the inside of her closet. she had repainted her room an emerald green from the bubblegum pink that she had about a 1 1/2 year ago, her closet is still bubblegum pink, great colour combination. once i get the painting done, old carpeting comes up & new laminant flooring goes down. a never ending job, renovating.
may 2012 be all that you wish for & more.
