Maxine should run for president. She was right on with this one!

Everyone concentrates on the problems we're having in this country lately: illegal immigration, hurricane recovery, alligators attacking people in Florida ....

Not me. I concentrate on solutions for the problems. It's a win-win situation.
+ Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border.
+ Send the dirt to New Orleans to raise the level of the levies.
+ Put the Florida alligators in the moat along the Mexican border.

Any other problems you would like for me to solve today ? Yes ?
    Think about these:
    1. Cows
    2. The Constitution
    3. The Ten Commandments

    C O W S

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

    T H E C O N S T I T U T I O N

They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq .... Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.

    T H E 1 0 C O M M A N D M E N T S

The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this: You cannot post 'Thou Shalt Not Steal,' 'Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery,' and 'Thou Shall Not Lie' in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians...It creates a hostile work environment.

    morning Q sters,

    HAPPY FRIDAY THE 13th!

well what a difference between regions. got up this morning to find green grass, none of that white stuff, just vey windy. started on my way to work & the further south i got, the whiter it got. not use to that turn of events, usually it's the other way around, not complaining, mind you. looking out the window now & i see there's quite an accumulation down by the lake area. hopefully it's still green in acton.

    AMAZING, SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES:

    1. AVOID CUTTING YOURSELF WHEN SLICING VEGETABLES BY GETTING SOMEONE ELSE TO HOLD THE VEGETABLES WHILE YOU CHOP.

    2. AVOID ARGUMENTS WITH THE FEMALES ABOUT LIFTING THE TOILET SEAT BY USING THE SINK.

    3. FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SUFFERERS ~ SIMPLY CUT YOURSELF AND BLEED FOR A FEW MINUTES, THUS REDUCING THE PRESSURE ON YOUR VEINS. REMEMBER TO USE A TIMER.

    4. A MOUSE TRAP PLACED ON TOP OF YOUR ALARM CLOCK WILL PREVENT YOU FROM ROLLING OVER AND GOING BACK TO SLEEP AFTER YOU HIT THE SNOOZE BUTTON.

    5. IF YOU HAVE A BAD COUGH, TAKE A LARGE DOSE OF LAXATIVES. THEN YOU'LL BE AFRAID TO COUGH.

    6. YOU NEED ONLY TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

    7. IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

    THOUGHT for the day:

SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN THEY'RE PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

I would use something like this for the larger holes.
    http://www.homedepot.ca/product/cgc-...-x-8-in/911197

Simple Fiberglass drywall tape for the smaller holes like this.
    http://www.homedepot.ca/product/shee...ft-roll/911203

and just regular drywall compound like this.
    http://www.homedepot.ca/product/cgc-...kg-pail/911179

All can be bought at Home Depot in any size or quantity you need.

Thanks so much for the help...I am assuming I need some sort of sand paper as well, but I guess someone at the store will be able to make sure I have everything I need. Thanks again my friend!

    For all our SC friends:

A friend is someone we turn to
when our spirits need a lift,
A friend is someone we treasure
for our friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives
    with beauty, joy, and grace
And makes the whole world we live in
    a better and happier place.

Yes Sandpaper and some sort of sanding block , 4" wide putty knife , paintbrush , primer.

Its actually an easy fix just dont try to overload it with the drywall compound , apply it in light coats like paint , let it dry then lightly sand it wth a sanding block to smooth it out , then apply more compound to fill any imperfections and to feather out the edges so it looks as good as possible , then apply two coats of primer then paint.
