Just realized that I have my 3’rd blue heart & I’m willing to trade for air miles,
Then I would take a spring holiday & head for the British Isles,
I would check out Cathedrals & visit old Big Ben,
Cross Abbey Road on camera & then go & do it again,
Visit family in Yorkshire, Manchester & Birmingham,
Maybe I’d even find a pub where I could have myself a wee dram,
Over to the Emerald Isle in of its’ greenery & splendor,
Seeing my Grandmother’s place of birth would make me feel all tender,
I have a cousin in the west end of Glasgow a bohemian kind of guy,
Haven’t seen him for over 30 years, cause you know how time does fly,
So 2 pinks hearts & 3 blues hearts to pin upon my lapel,
I won’t parade upon a podium, clang the gong or ring a bell,
Perhaps also a tap of the shoulder to remind me where I spend my time,
Who else but me would ramble on about it in a silly little rhyme.
To donate your air miles to me call 1-800-LOOCIE-1 to make arrangements.

morning everyone. i too, was at SA for the Paul James show. It was quite enjoyable. He managed to get a lot of people up dancing. As with the others, that was my first Paul James show. Don't know why it took so long as he has been on the Toronto music scene like forever. Oh well, better late than never. The first time I saw him play was at the John Lennon tribute back in December. If you didn't get a chance to see that show, put a note in your calendar for next year as it was a great night of local talent performing their interpretation of John's music.
Have a great week all.I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

morning Q sters.
HAPPY MONDAY!
it sure was a cold weekend, but had a great time at the SA. the 1st thing i noticed when i walked in was the crowd was older that the usually crowds that invade the SA. the majority were in their 40's, 50's & 60's, not too many younger than that. although there was a couple in their 20's who danced very well together to some of paul songs. i believe it was several different styles of line dancing, depending on the song paul was singing. i was really surprised how flabergasted ecat was when she found out that we(psells, bluewaterwitch & myself) hadn't been to a paul james concert. rodents play a big part in not going, so once they're old enough to do things on their own, that's the time parents get to have fun.
the music was really fun & upbeat & it wasn't in your face LOUD. you could actually have a conversation or comment to someone WITHOUT SCREAMING in their ear. paul didn't have all kinds of amps lining up the side of the stage. it was loud enough for the inimate venu atmosphere. another thing was, because of the age group of the crowd, no one was stupid, fall down, angry drunk. paul did 2 sets & was interactive with the crowd on the floor. he came down during one of his songs, playing his guitar, picked up someone's empty bottle & was using it on the neck of the guitar playing. he did a lot of twirling while playing & behind the head playing. he remind me of chuck berry on some of his stints. not sure what time the concert finished, but i left at 1pm. tried to find ecat to say good-bye before i left, but didn't see her. sorry i missed saying good-bye. would have loved to stay till the end, but i was up at 4:30am that morning & had to work before hand, so i wanted to make sure i wasn't going to fall asleep driving home. was home by 1:50am & prompty hit the sack. it was a very enjoyable evening.

Good morning, everyone.
I think I'm dealing with round 3 of this cold (this time it's hit my ears & I'm having dizzy spells & low BP). Ah, the joys of not having an immune system.
At least the critters are being caring & supportive...as long as I make sure all meals are served on time.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
