Enjoy this performance...recognize the rhythm section?
I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

So here it is another day in the land of Smart Canucks,
Some of us are delicate does & some of you handsome bucks,
Although there are no more sleuth words or points to be tabulated,
& some still have angst from slots withdrawal may still feel a tad frustrated,
This is just a reminder that most of us are still here,
We can still express our opinions even though we’re running in low gear,
We’ve have had our share of winners when we used to submit words,
& some of you learned that trying for MM prizes was really for the birds,
So now we have Trip-An-Hour Thursdays, but to be the 1,007th caller?
& somehow a trip to Mexico just would not make me holler,
A couple of you guys won matching cars, I think that they were Cruzes?
Lee03 got to see Alice in Scotland & hear him sing away his muses,
Wolfdio has won so many things, too many things to even count,
Remember when they used to call the winner & how the tension did mount?
Some of our regulars have left & we all hope that they’re well & fine,
Maybe some people are busy & just do not have the spare time,
Anyhow dear people, we’re still cogs in this carefree regime,
I’m glad that we still remain here, united as a team!!

Good afternoon. Thank you for all the get well wishes. Feeling better today, the head is still feeling a little thick, but that could be normal!!! Way to go Leafs, do it again tonight. Went on to the Q site to do a Workplace Shuffle. Got it all filled in and went to pick the songs. But you have to pick the songs from a list. But the songs on the list are the ones they play all the time and I know they are going to play them. I wanted something different. Got to the bottom of the list and saw three Yes songs to choose from and clicked delete. You used to be able to pick your songs. Guess its back to the IPOD.
Rockit – congrats on another blue heart

Well, I helped see Dear Helen off on Her Final Shopping Trip.
I actually mentioned that when I Signed the Online Book of Condolences for Her (OK... for Her Family)... "Grocery Shopping will never be the same."
Even the Rabbi was in Tears and could not remain Composed.
Helen had a Tough Life, but the Way that She Faced it Straight On is Amazing!!!!
She would (every Day) Pray for other People.
That was Who She was... and how She will be Remembered.
Her Goal, it seems, was to make Everyone that She met Smile (if She could not get you to Laugh).
If I may, I would like to Share my 1st Memory... my 1st Meeting of Dear Helen:
I do not Remember which Year it was, but there was a Large Gathering on New Year's Eve. It was (at the Time) at my next door Neighbour's Place.
Now, my Hearing is not the best and when you have dozens of People all milling about and talking, it just becomes "noise" to me, so I cannot follow any Conversation.
I sat at the table quietly... Helen was just to my left.
I Felt Her Eyes upon me at Times.
SUDDENLY... there was no "Word"... no "Warning"...
Helen... started... to SING!!!!
I turned to Her, my jaw hanging open... I blocked out all Sound but for Her Voice.
Others followed Suit... the Place went Silent, except for the Sound of that Sweet, Delicate, Beautiful Voice.
By the Time She Finished, I sat there Stunned... a Tear in my Eye.
I did not want Her to Stop, it was soooo Beautiful.
There was total Silence for a Moment... just before we all began a Thunderous Round of Applause.
This was my Wonderful Introduction to Dear Helen.
She told me later that She Reads Faces and can tell a lot about someone that way.
She Liked what She saw in my Mug (for some Reason) and I Feel in my Gut that She Sang for ME.
That Song Haunted me for such a long Time. I cannot Remember the Song... or the Tune. All I Remember is the "Feeling" that I had.
I Feel Selfish; I do not want Her to go.
But it is not my Place to keep Her from Her Rounds.
There are other People in Need of Her.
"G*d needed an Assistant, so She Submitted Her Resume."
R.I.P. Dear Helen
You may now Dance pain-free;
You can now Teach the other Angels to Sing;
You have left us a Generous Portion of Your Heart;
You have given us Memories that no amount of Money could ever buy.
My Love for You, Dear Helen, is shown in the Tears that flow freely.
You will be Missed... but never "forgotten".
I live in a Cartoon World as I am surrounded by Characters.

Teen Caught going 156 Km in 50 km. zone
(QMI Agency, file)
VANCOUVER — A 17-year-old Saanich, B.C., boy late to pick up his mom from the ferry terminal has been slapped with a $483 ticket after his truck was caught going 156 kilometres in a 50 km/h zone.
RCMP spotted the speeding Ford F-150 on Monday just after 3 p.m. near the Swartz Bay terminal. When the driver didn’t pull over, police tracked the license plate to the terminal where they discovered the boy had also collided with a concrete median.
The vehicle, which belongs to the boy’s father, was impounded for a week and police are requesting the boy’s license be reviewed.
He seriously needs to slow down!!!!
