morning Q sters,
TGIF!
we were lucky out my way. last night it was foggy coming home & could hear the rain later that night. after hearing about Derringer's sliding episode this morning, i was cautious heading out to start the car. there was a slight white base so there was no sliding down the driveway, but the car was covered in ice. when i ventured out to the road to go to work, i was surprised to find, they were ok, just wet. the freezing part must have stayed to the northeast. no school cancellations in the halton region, so all is good. everyone else out there, please be careful, take your time & arrive safe & alive.NASCAR SEASON is complete for 2021.
Kyle Larson wins his 1st Nascar Championship.

Incredibly good live performance in the earlier version. Anyone else(Loocie) notice the "golliwog" mofif on the bass drum? It was the Robertson's jam and marmalade symbol on their jars when I was a kid. Now totally politically incorrect I imagine. Thanx for the great post.

Good morning, everyone.
It's raining here. Today feels like a pajama day, but I have errands to run (I really must work on my timing ). Lily dog is refusing to get out of bed. Might have to fry up some bacon to convince her to go out & get her toes wet.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Hey! How'd I get involved in saving this idiot. I'd like to think I'd be across the street with ya Peter or the guy running for marshmallows, but knowing my luck my car would be right behind this guys and end up as collateral damage!!!
I do recall a Mythbuster episode where they tried to get a cell phone to cause a fire and they couldn't. Still, I'd rather be safe than sorry so the cell phone stays in the car.

was so darned amused to see this - i'm living in an original
axminster home, bought in 1955 for $15,000.
then i remembered what other phone number i needed to know
oxford 4 -1594 - my grandparents, just behind the danforth.
as for the
i also had one, with my own number- as my calls were
inteferring with my dad's gigs calls.
then again in the phone book my name was with my brother's -
as if.
no one in my family who has lived here, has done the
upgrade to touchtone so i hear what one would
using a rotary phone. extra special last cordless i bought has no
pulse option.
i do remember when using such a contraption winning a phone-in
not sure if q or chum - but i won one of the new artist's albums
bruce springsteen's born to run

Good morning Q folks.
Glad that I have Fridays off. It was freezing rain when I went to bed last night. Looked out the window this morning and can see that the snow plow already went by but it is snowing quite heavy again right now. I bet the kids are happy that there is no school today!
Drive safe!

O.k. so here are the demands of those heartless
Bon Jovi band members.
If we ever want to see Stewy again someone
has to request one of their songs at noon today.
I know it's a difficult thing to ask but someone
has to take a bullet for the team.
There is no phone service here in the mountains
of Lithuania so one of YOU must make the ultimate sacrifice.
Good luck and God speed.@

Hulk Hogan says he was asked to join Metallica
Wrestler-turned-reality TV star Hulk Hogan has sensationally revealed he was once asked to consider joining Metallica.
The beloved WWF star was a session musician before he turned to the ring, and he admits his career almost took a very different path.
He tells The Sun newspaper, "I played bass guitar. I was big pals with Lars Ulrich and he asked me if I wanted to play bass with Metallica in their early days but it didn't work out."
His love for music never left him and Hogan admits he has always been a huge fan of reunited British group the Stone Roses, revealing he used to work out to their songs.
He adds, "I love the Stone Roses. They're getting back together, right? That's cool, man."
