well not snowing in lindsay from what the wife tells me and really windy here in port perry. Loks like the ice is shifting and really starting to open up in the middle of the lake. If the wind keeps up the ice will be gone real soon.

Hubby is in Orangeville and said that he couldn't see his car in the parking lot through the snow.... (the parking lot is not that far away....)

I just heard on CP24 that they rescued 25 fishermen on lake simcoe... the ice completely broke apart.....

I'd believe it the ice isnt that thick on simcoe anyway and with the winds it does a number on the ice if theres any openings.

Yep, lots of blowing snow up here creating white-out conditions. Hwy 124 (north of Shelburne) closed because of a six vehicle collision.
