It was ringing about half way through the trip song. Rang about a dozen times and then I got the message "The contact did not answer the call". You can't tell me that she went through 107 callers in that time.

I'm sorry to keep asking for help. I'll try to get back to my normal self soon (maybe after the funeral next week).
Is there anyone able to take in 1, 2 or 3 cats? I'm not in any position to take in another roommate in my tiny apt (Quincy freaks if anyone who isn't human goes near his litterbox, although Lily would be thrilled with more cats to play with). No one in the family can take them in (between resident pets who are not cat tolerant and allergies, there's no one able). Worst case scenario is that the vet takes them in & finds them homes. They've had the same vet for the last 5 yrs (J & P were born at the vet's), I can get their records easily. They're cat friendly (at one point Desiree took in a cat for a couple of weeks who was not doing well in her foster home).
Here's their bio:
James, male, will be 5 next month, is a big baby, loves to be held and petted
Priti, female, will be 5 next month, can be bossy (likes to beat up James) or skittish, she takes her cues from her mom
Kitty, female, around 7, mom to James and Priti, is very skittish until she gets to know you, she spent at least 1 yr on the street
James and Kitty are dark tabby, the vet described the markings as "mack tabby".
Priti is a tabby with white patches.
The cats have fallen off the radar in terms of priority for Desiree's family (there are now 2 family members in hospital dealing with serious health issues ).
I have feelers out in my neighbourhood, thought I'd also ask here.

Just got in an hour ago, man did I ever walk a lot today! I was all over the place (in the rain a lot!) Anyways, got a good deal on some Goji berries and some Agave sweetner! We won the curling game too.
I don't think I could take one of those puds in Andi, I'm sure Daisy would want to beat up on a new comer which is why I haven't brought one in from the H.S. although I'd like to try...omg I hope they find a home, were they your friends kitties???

Hope everyone enjoyed their day.
The cats were Desiree's constant companions, especially last fall when she was recovering from surgery. I wish I could take them in, since they're Quincy's relatives (Kitty is his mom, the "kittens" are his half siblings). Desiree & I used to joke that we were inlaws through cat. I posted on the off chance that someone had room for a kitty. Again, worst case scenario is that their vet takes them in (they run a cat boarding facility) & finds them homes.
There are a few things going on with Desiree's family, so I'm still being kept busy trying to help. Something happened today & the first thing I thought was that I have to tell Desiree, she'd laugh at the irony. Then reality hit.
Thanks for all the support. I really appreciate it.

Good night everyone.
Have been busy around here.
My husband's trip to the Dr was over 2 hrs long as he had an emergency
and no one bothered to mention it to any of the people waiting to see him.
Thankfully he does not have what our daughter had....
but was told to stay home in bed... Ha!
He may not go out as he has plenty of work to do, however he
is not one to stay in bed unless really really sick.
And I am sure he will try to win the trip!
My daughter enjoyed her driving lesson today though we have to
find something for her to sit on as she could barely see when she
turned to look behind her.
I am off to dream land.
Sweet dreams
