The Four Cats
Four men were bragging about how smart their cats were..
The first man was an Engineer,
the second man was an Accountant,
the third man was a Chemist, and
the fourth man was a Government Employee.
To show off, the Engineer called his cat, "T-square, do your stuff."
T-square pranced over to the desk, took out some paper and pen and promptly drew a circle, a square, and a triangle.
Everyone agreed that was pretty smart.
But the Accountant said his cat could do better. He called his cat and said,
"Spreadsheet, do your stuff."
Spreadsheet went out to the kitchen and returned with a dozen cookies. He divided them into 4 equal piles of 3 cookies.
Everyone agreed that was good.
But the Chemist said his cat could do better. He called his cat and said, "Measure, do your stuff."
Measure got up, walked to the fridge, took out a quart of milk, got a 10 ounce glass from the cupboard and poured
exactly 8 ounces without spilling a drop into the glass.
Everyone agreed that was pretty good.
Then the three men turned to the Government Employee and said, "What can your cat do?"
The Government Employee called his cat and said, "CoffeeBreak, do your stuff."
CoffeeBreak jumped to his feet...
ate the cookies...
drank the milk...
pooped on the paper...
humped the other three cats...
claimed he injured his back while doing so...
filed a grievance report for unsafe working conditions...
put in for Workers Compensation...and
went home for the rest of the day on sick leave...
AND THAT, MY FRIEND IS WHY EVERYONE WANTS TO WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT!!

holy crap someone changed the time?
Since the mid-1990s, Delany has served on the board of the Scleroderma Research Foundation, and with her friend Sharon Monsky, she helped campaign for support in finding a cure for scleroderma.[88] Working with director Bob Saget, she starred in the TV movie For Hope (1996), based on Saget's sister Gay, who had died as a result of the disease.[89] She appeared as a contestant on Celebrity Jeopardy in 2001, 2006 and 2009 to raise money for scleroderma research.[90] Scleroderma "robs these women of not only their own lives in many cases, but robs their families which include countless children," she explained in 2002.[91]
i always liked dana, and had no idea about the scerloderma thing - remembering when i was
diagnosed in 2000, and the rheumatologist handed me a pamphlet (which he wanted back!),
it stated 165,000 americans have it - so that's what in canadian? kidding - i can divide by 10.
interesting the roles she has turned down though.
vid has of course marg helgenberger

Morning, everyone.
It's supposed to be a warm day, so I think I'll take the brats up to the roof for a picnic lunch. It's been a while since we've done that.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Geez, it promises to be such a beautiful day !! They say 20 by Saturday.
Think I'll go out & wash my car, & maybe, this afternoon, put the top down, & go for a drive.
Isn't spring fantastic !!! I know, it's not really spring yet, but it sure feels like it.
Nice 2 be able to open the windows 4 awhile & air the house out.

A gorgeous day indeed!
Can you believe that soon we can lament about how hot it is out there?
If you're out & about today, be careful of all the little kiddies out there who are out & about.....they don't always look where they are going.
