The thought of all those unwanted animals and that picture makes me cry!!! As I've said before if I had one wish it would be that there would be no need for animal shelters and no animal abuse....................:mad:

Looks like Wreck Beach except 4 the cloths.

I moved 2 the beaches when i was 10, in 1967 it had a lot of hippies then, But they morphed into Yuppies.Had my first girl,toke,tab,drink,and more down there in the BEACHES, I dont care what them Yuppies call it.

Berndawg you are a naughty boy. My earliest memories of the Beach are from when I was very small. My Grandmother lived on Balsam. I loved going down to the boardwalk, playing in the sand & walking along Queen St. There used to be several little shops that we would pop into. I still have a piggy bank that she bought for me at Woolworth's that was at Queen & Lee (I think).

Chers – congrats I would love to lose some weight. I try and walk 3 to 5 km about six days a week. I don’t gain but I don’t lose either

I moved 2 the beaches in 1971 & lived there till 1985. I loved it !!
And, I agree, it's called 'The Beaches"
