Good morning, everyone. :)
My body's not happy with all the physical activity from yesterday (hauling books off shelves, climbing up & down step-stools). These are the days I wish I had sent Lily dog to massage therapy school. Maybe I can get Quincy cat to lie on the achy spot on my shoulder & purr - he's got to be just as good as heat therapy, right? :P
Better go make the roommates breakfast.

I drank a bottle of wine with the wife last night, I thought my alarm was part of my dream. Got 2 work 15 min late,But since i got no 1 over my shoulder it does not matter if im late or not. My head hurts, and oddly enough i haven't had a smoke yet 2day.

what a morning so far. i swear to god if it wasn't for bad luck i'd have no luck at all.
didn't sleep in this morning, was up & out the door at my usual time, having a leasurely drive to work. was going up the skyway in the far left lane when a heard this smack, like a stone hitting the side of the van. figured it got thrown from another vehicle going by, when all of a sudden i heard the lovely washboard sound coming from the right rear (rrrr rrrr rrrrr) dang it all!:rant:
now i put my signal on to get over 4 lanes to the shoulder of the skyway, put my 4 ways on & call work. HELP! i'm stuck on the skyway with a blown tire. if you think i'm getting out to change it on the skyway, you're banana crackers. traffic whizzing by at 120kmp. no sooner am i on the phone with work when a tow truck pulls up in front of me & asks if i need help. luckily it's the tow truck service that work uses. work told me where to take the van, so i told him. he had to call a flat bed to come & take the van cause he wasn't crazy enough to change the tire on the skyway either. got the tire replaced & since i don't know Hamilton/Stoney Creek at all, except to get to work, the owner of the shop told me how to get from the shop to work. i followed his directions, but didn't see where i was suppose to turn off. pulled off the road & called work to find out how to get back there. since Hamilton is famous for it's 1 way streets, the owner didn't tell me that i had to make a couple of lefts to get going in the other direction to find the street i need. got to work around 9:30am & have settled in since. HOLY COW! 2 days in a row. hopefully tomorrow will be uneventful drive to work.
