Club Q Q107-Loyalty Club (Southern ON Only) v4

Hi Everyone!:-)

Spend the day at the Humane Society volunteering at their Open House/Garage Sale! Not sure exactly how many got adopted but I know Queen who was a blind kitty with irreversible cataracts, 12 years old got her forever home with a nice girl!! yipeee!!! and Royce who was a totally fed up diabetic got a home with a family who had a girl with diabetes - so hopefully that works!!! Quite a few younger ones got adopted but I'll find out how many later and hopefully quite a few doggies!:-) Got a few things my puds seem to like at the Garage Sale (scratching things and a few toys) plus I bought a new light for the computer desk (the other one wasn't very good!!) Anyways, all in all some success but still very emotional for the many left behind:(:mad:

What a nice sunny day eh? Would have enjoyed the walk more if I hadn't had to rush so much!!! Anyways, hope your all doing great!:-)

Yea I read about that too, they were warning parents to only buy the foam hand sanitizer because it couldn't be separated as easily and the alcohol drank by the kids!!!! Wow, I'm so lucky I don't have to think about stuff like that with my daughter (really! I can't see her ever doing something like that!!!) There have been quite a few taken to hospital after drinking this stuff! Beer or other drinks I think are enough for teens without stuff like this!!!

Thanks for the kind words karl! I honestly don't know how "anyone" could not care seeing those poor animals in that situation or how some "people" could put them there in the first place!!!! Would I ever like to put " them" in the same situation for a while!!!! :top: I do get very emotional around these kitties/doggies etc. as they don't have a voice or control over their situation...........thanks for having a few of your own, I know your one of the caring ones!!!!:-)

Hey kawam!! Do you want to come over an cut my lawn??? :lol: I almost filled a big brown lawn bag of weeds today.... nasty.... I thought I would try to get as many as possible out before the "first cut" (which hubby still hasn't done.... :rolleyes: ) I think he convinced the unemployed young university graduate to do it tomorrow....

I had a nice outing with friends (& managed to stay awake!). Lunch didn't break my budget, unfortunately hanging out with my one friend & seeing the item she wanted to buy online proved too tempting. Eeek. Online shopping is a dangerous thing. :P

Hello my friends.

I am home for a little while as I needed a mental break.
I feel very guilty for leaving my mom as she is in the step down unit
at the Royal Victoria hospital. She is not quite ready to go into a regular room.
Her surgery was more than 7 hours long.... and her surgeon spoke with me after the operation.
He told me everything went well and her heart is very strong.

My niece will be visiting my mom as well as my nephew.... but she is my responsibility not theirs.
