Good Morning to all. It seems many of you are still sleeping, but every once & awhile you are permitted to sleep in.

Welcome back Mizz. Very nice to see you again.

Hope you all find a way to enjoy this lovely day & even bask in this warm weather using common sense of course.
Be patient, as people tend to get cranky during humid weather.

I have begun my day with a shocker..........We are out of coffee!!!! Since I am the only one in this house who drinks coffee there is no one but myself who can be held accountable for this oversight. Tea is nice, but it isn't coffee.

Good morning Q folks. Happy Caturday.

Up early today. There is a community garage sale in our neighbourhood this morning and my daughter and her friend have set up a lemonade stand. She is already out there sitting in the sun. I am having my morning coffee (sorry Loocie) and watching Flintstones. :D

had an interesting appt with my new rheumatologist.
dad's gf joyce and i were sitting in the waiting room, when an older
gentleman in a pink polo shirt came shuffing in from the hall, asked
the receptionist to remind him to get blood work done and went into
the office area. hmmm, then he called out to send him some work
to do, hence i was sent in.

i mentioned i was surprised he was still in on a friday at 3, he
said something about that's why i called you in "i want to finish up and
get drunk."
soon after was something along the lines of:
"i won't insult you by asking if you have children unless you aren't a
lesbian" - surprised i answered "well yes i am - how could you tell?"
to which i heard 'and that's your woman friend waiting for you.'
i had to laugh, "no my dad's gf, who is going to enjoy hearing this,
and who as far as i know has always been very straight"
'well i'm right then' - 'no half right'

first of all can't really figure out how/why he went there, it's not like
i look like a dykey person. did mention to him that even if he
was right i could have had children anyway.
he does seem a little old school and found out he's 83!!!
very interesting character who's first wife was an artist who committed suicide.
he gave me a pamphlet about her. heard a lot about his life which
had to be the most info i've ever heard about the life of a doctor - except 'house'.

the bad or good news, depends on the perspective is i scored perfect
on the fibromyalgia pressure points test, oh goody.
and he doesn't want a biopys for the other - does want blood, darn.

i don't usually post medical stuff but found this guy to be a hoot, so,,,

i see terrific wins congrats - hoping everyone has a bunch of fun :smile:

Someone got me up extra early to go flirt with the construction workers. Poor Lily is going to be very sad when all the construction is finally finished (3ish years left, eeek!).

WOW! takes all kinds to make the world go round! I had a fertility doctor who was very chatty with weird stories about his life too, and he would fine the most "interesting" times to relate them. The thing I remember most about him was his life long refusal to eat in restaurants and the absolutely disgusting tales he told me regarding what he thought they would do to his food if he did. It was surreal, almost felt like I was on a hidden camera show or SNL or something! Glad to hear your appnt was a success from a medical point of view anyway...
