Question: A small Canadian manufacturer has 100 kg each of red, white, black, gold, orange and silver rubber in stock; and 100 kg each of three shades of blue rubber; light, medium and dark. They decide to produce 120 gram souvenir hockey pucks in the colours of Canada's NHL teams. A Toronto puck will be equal parts white and medium blue; a Montreal puck equal parts red, white and medium blue; an Ottawa or Calgary puck equal parts red, white, black and gold; an Edmonton puck equal parts medium blue, white and orange; a Vancouver puck equal parts medium blue, dark blue, white and silver; and a Winnipeg puck equal parts red, medium blue, light blue, white and silver. They have a customer who will buy as many souvenir pucks as they can supply, for $5 per puck, provided there are a minimum of 100 pucks for each team. Another customer will buy all of the remaining rubber in the form of 100g practice pucks for $1 per puck.



What is the maximum revenue that can be generated from the existing stock of coloured rubber, and how many pucks need to be produced in each team's colours?
