Good day all
RWWs-keyboard
i heard the RWW earlier of GEDDY
don't exactly remember what time that was.
Well, I hope it's going well for the Wolverines, but I wasn't going to sit in the rain after walking through the woods at Hilton Falls in the rain all afternoon. Also, I got an email about tickets to see Branford Marsalis at the Rose Theatre tonight, so if anyone (1) can get to Brampton by 8:45 and wants to join me, PM with your digits right away. Attention SC shoppers ...
I had Watched is Race and was Livid when Our Team was Disqualified!!
Like Others, I did not Know "why" at the Time.
I was Angry, until I Calmed myself down by Repeating the Mantra, "those are the Leagal Rules... those are the Legal Rules".
*sigh*
The WORST part to me is having the Canadian Team Listed as "Bronze", just to have it removed.
My Heart Broke for Them.
I Agree... They are Honest... They are Canadian.
This is what Good Sportsmanship (Sportspersonship), means to me.
Any Country.
I am more-than-Happy for Jamaica and their World-Record Gold-Medal Win, though. :top:
Hi there, Peter...
I just want to Mention how Great a Man You are for Offering Your Spares to these Venues!!!!
I cannot make it, but I Tip-my-Hat to You, Good Sir!!!!
I woke up this Morn with a really bad Pinched-Back.
I can barely move without Screaching Expletives!!!!
Fortunately, there is a Walk-In-Clinic next Door to me.
I am now Medicated and about to Feast on the Bounty that my Dear Friend (the Cook) sent Home with me Yesterday. :excited:
Awww, I'm sorry about your pinched back Wolfie, that must hurt like a Bit*ch!!! Did the medication take away most of the pain or is it still there? Back pain has got to be one of the worst!!!
Just got back from the Taste on the Danforth. Walked the street from one end of the street and back, got some samples, entered some contests (won some free calimari) dodged the rain for the most part.....then went back to the car only to find a $100 fine!!!!:bawling: The charge was for parking within 6 ft of a fire hydrant. Now of course we wouldn't chance parking by a hydrant but None of us even noticed it was there! On closer observation yes you could see it but at the time there was a van in front of us and the hydrant was partially obscured by some high plants!!! Yes it was our fault but we have the feeling the guy at the house called to report it because he came out acting very sarcastic and asking "why I was upset" and " you shouldn't park within 6 feet of a hydrant you know!" just his attitude kind of gave him away - he almost looked glad! Anyways, quite the damper put on this day!!! I hate paying out money like that, to court to fight we will go and hope to at least get it reduced.........damn.........

Hope everyone enjoyed their day (& managed to stay dry!). :)
Had a lovely do-nothing day. I've been sitting here laughing at the short one - it seems Quincy is in love with the freezer. wonder if he thinks the freezer is purring? :P
Off to squish the brats, if they let me.
Night all. :)
Bet there's at least one person on here will enjoy this:

Branford Marsalis and friends were amazing, as you would expect from one of the world's greatest artists. After the show I strolled outside and caught the last 15 minutes of Funkadesi on the outdoor stage. Any fans of world music should catch them Sunday afternoon 3:30 in Brampton - a fusion of Punjabi rhythms, Reggae and Funk - with a little Sweet Home Alabama thrown into the mix.
Hope everyone's enjoying their weekend so far!
