Christine Sinclair to carry Canada's during closing ceremony

Soccer player Christine Sinclair has been selected to carry Canada's during this afternoon's closing ceremony at London 2012.

Sinclair was dominant on the field and her performance inspired as she led the Canadian women's team to a bronze medal in soccer.

oh look, the sun is out.

The sun was out (off and on) yesterday too.... We had 13 people for dinner yesterday and we all had to scramble inside just after we started eating.... It was actually hilarious to see everyone grabbing things to bring inside.... Good thing that we are all "cottagers" and had a good attitude about it..... the rain came so fast that we were all soaked!!!

Awww, I'm sorry about your pinched back Wolfie, that must hurt like a Bit*ch!!! Did the medication take away most of the pain or is it still there? Back pain has got to be one of the worst!!!

Just got back from the Taste on the Danforth. Walked the street from one end of the street and back, got some samples, entered some contests (won some free calimari) dodged the rain for the most part.....then went back to the car only to find a $100 fine!!!! The charge was for parking within 6 ft of a fire hydrant. Now of course we wouldn't chance parking by a hydrant but None of us even noticed it was there! On closer observation yes you could see it but at the time there was a van in front of us and the hydrant was partially obscured by some high plants!!! Yes it was our fault but we have the feeling the guy at the house called to report it because he came out acting very sarcastic and asking "why I was upset" and " you shouldn't park within 6 feet of a hydrant you know!" just his attitude kind of gave him away - he almost looked glad! Anyways, quite the damper put on this day!!! I hate paying out money like that, to court to fight we will go and hope to at least get it reduced.........damn.........

That sucks ecat.... did you take any pictures of the hydrant being partially obscured by the high plants? I don't know for sure, but it may help with your fight....

The sun is shining again off and on here this morning... they say that we are still supposed to get thunder showers, but I don't believe them.... I'm hoping that it has rained itself out and that we will have nothing but sunshine for this week while I'm on vacation....
