your morning smile :)
Two Newfies shopping.
Tom and Mick were walking along a street in Toronto . Mick looked in one of the shop windows and saw a sign that caught his eye. The sign read, "Suits $10.00 each, Shirts $4.00 each, Trousers $6.50 per pair."
Mick said to his buddy, "Look at the prices! We could buy a whole lot of dose and when we get back to St, John's could make a fortune. Now when we go in you stay quiet, okay? Let me do all da talking cause if they hear our accents, they might think we're thickos from Newfoundland and try to screw us. I'll put on my best accent."
"Right y'are Mick, I'll keep me mouth shut, so I will. You do all da business," said Tom.
They go in and Mick said in a posh voice, "Hello my good man. I'll take 50 suits at $10.00 each, 100 shirts at $4.00 each, and 50 pairs of trousers at $6.50 each. I'll back up me truck ready to load 'em on, so I will."
The owner of the shop said quietly, "You're from Newfoundland , aren't you?"
"Well yes," said a surprised Mick. "What gave it away?"
The owner replied, "This is a dry-cleaners."

Au Naturale-Changes
I would like to share an experience with you all about drinking and driving.
As you well know some of us have been known to have had rare brushes with the authorities on our way home from the odd social session over the years.
A couple of nights ago I was out for a few drinks with some friends and had a few too many beers and some shots.
Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit I did something I've never done before… I took a bus home.
Sure enough, I passed a DUI checkpoint, but as it was a bus they waved it through.
I arrived home safely without incident, which was a real surprise, as I have never driven a bus before and am not sure where I got it

Gas prices dropping 5.7 cents to 127.8 cents/litre
According to En-Pro, gas prices are expected to drop 5.7 cents at 12:01 a.m. Sept. 19, to an average price of 127.8 cents/litre at most GTA gas stations.
Please note: Gas prices have become very volatile because of a change in the way oil companies set their prices, thus making it more challenging to predict gasoline prices.

Good afternoon fellow Canucks!
Lovely weather today... not!
But after such a fabulous summer, I guess I shouldn't complain too much.
Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday!
Have a great evening!
Enjoy your evening too!
I laugh whenever I see your post to have a good evening. You must be one of those unfortunate people who works those horrible early day shifts. I'm a night owl who stays up 'till 2 or 3 in the morning so usually don't even get up until 10 or 11. At 3 in the afternoon I'm just starting to feel human and for me evening is still far away. :coffee:
I worked a 6:45 am to 3:00 pm shift for 6 weeks and it almost killed me! :sleepy1:
