The hockey lockout makes me shake my head,
& I'm sure that frustration is very widespread,
They can compromise & they can't reach a deal,
I'm thinking its all bullsh*t in which they spiel,
As a mature lady & a confirmed Leafs fan,
I ignore their statistics & the Stanley Cup drought span,
I'll even miss that arrogant Don Cherry & his upholstered attire,
I just hope resolution is what will transpire,
It irritates me to the N'th degree,
Thus concludes a wee rant from little ole' me.
Meanwhile, let's have a coffee in a cookie cup & sit outside on the SC patio & enjoy the outdoors as it warms up. It is looking like a beautiful day will be all ours!
