Great pictures of Fleetwood Mac! A beautiful set- Wow!
Breakfast for Two at Cora's is not a bargain. I don't understand the popularity of the place. I had French Toast that was so soggy from being marinated in all that fruit that is was not so nice to eat. Very expensive for breakfast for two I think! I'll stick with my regular place!!

[QUOTE=rock lobster;6105478]I last saw Bob Seger at the C.N.E. , Loocie fed me beer at the beer gardens and
we took the Alpine ride back to the Princess Gates at the end of the night.
Some or all of this may or may not have happened.
Things are a little fuzzy.
Loocie denies any knowledge.
May have been a different red-head.
Only the Shadow knows for sure.

It was those Jello shots that I packed in our picnic basket that may have made your head a bit fuzzy. The beer garden was great we rolled out the barrel big time. I just remember going for a ride on the Wild Cat & waiting for the bus.

Those are really good pictures KT.
I saw them about 10 years ago, and it looks like they still go all out for their performances.

Thanks for the info on the implant HG! I'm not only scared to get it done but that price tag is damn scary too!!!! We have a dental plan but it's not that great and it doesn't cover implants!!! How these dentists get away with charging sooooo much is beyond me!!!!:yikes: Do you have a dental plan at all? I had a few discussions with my dentist about my broken tooth which actually needs a filling but when I went in for that he said we should really do one of a few things, get it pulled and put in an implant, put in a bridge, or get a denture there!!! Which is the worse of all evils - I don't know, we finally agreed on the implant but I didn't know it would be that much!!!! I was supposed ot go to see about getting it pulled but have put it off and now I don't want to do it before I go to Turkey in case there are complications. That's encouraging if you didn't feel any pain with the extraction or the implant.
I don't really think the patient is smiling as much as the people working there when they get the "work" done!

I agree that breakie was a little pricey Loocie, but they often are. I don't like paying over $7 or so for a few eggs plus I don't like to eat the bacon or sausage anymore, as you know for ethical reasons, and many places down here charge around $10 or so when you think of the profit they are making along with the tax and tip:yikes:it gets a little silly! I'm sure they are not using Free Run Eggs which cost more so they really make a bundle off people but there are always line ups down here on the weekends for breakie.................
There was a place down here "Whitlocks" that I liked and took April for Mother`s Day Brunch a few years back when she was younger. After we sat down she was feeling ill so I told the waitress we would have to leave and maybe come back later. I had only put a little salad on my plate and she said I`d have to pay the whole cost of the buffet brunch which was at that time around $16! I told the manager but he was no more caring. I told him my daughter felt ill and we`d try to come back later but he still wanted us to pay for the whole meal!!!! No sympathy whatsoever:mad: Well regardless of the fact I enjoyed a meal or two there before this happened I haven`t and will not return - customer service should mean something!!!!

This nice kitty will be on my list to visit with tomorrow - although I wish he would be gone and into a nice home..........
I was visiting with him last week and an adoption agent came over and said yes we should get his picture out there - and they did!!!! here it is! They always have one kitty in their office that can walk around and live out of the caged environment - Dusty was the last one and he got adopted last week - he was a nice fluffy orange guy - 12 years old - I suggested they get Socks in there next - hoping they do....

I believe I too have some 10 year old socks; but they are disappointing !
Just bought a fourth groupon from Amato Pizza - bought one a couple weeks ago for $15 (regular $25) for an 18 inch - I was quite pleased with it - quite a good size and the people there were actually Italian - not chinese or indian!!! The pizza was really good with fresh ingredients. This one you have to redeem at College and Yonge, but I`m down there the odd time and its good for three months so I`m sure I`ll use it - much better than local pizza joints in my opinion!!!! Just letting you know if you buy groupons - until midnight they are 15% off which made it only $12.75.
This is the one I got

lifetime adventures
This is approaching the Mint hut in Hatcher Pass Alaska. Hut is in the lower left of picture
Implants have been the story of my life for my daughter lately.... Because of her cleft lip and palate, she was born without 2 teeth... (she currently has the two missing teeth attached to a removable plate, but we're still working on a "permanent" solution of implants....) one implant is in, but the other one has failed the last 3 surgeries because of her lack of bone.... we were just at the specialist's yesterday discussing another procedure that he was one of the pioneers of (which is the reason that we were referred to in the first place).... He has had 100% success with his previous 14 patients over the last few years, so she would be #15 doing this procedure in Canada..... He is the ONLY doctor in Canada doing this procedure.... Now it's just a matter of waiting for funding approval... ( she has been partially funded through a program through the Ministry of Health over the last few years, but it is a very slow process....) If it's not approved, it will not be nice.... :(
good luck, lee! sounds like your daughter has been through a lot :(
