Who needs the NHL when you have the Smart Canuck Ladies Team?
We practice, practice & practice as it's just part of our regime,
We power skate, pass that puck & stay away from time wasting offsides calls,
& you will never see us participate in those nasty old bench clearing brawls,
We play our wings & you can bet that we keep our sticks on the ice,
& you know we've tried to tell the Maple Leafs to follow that very advice?
We love when we get a breakaway, deek the goalie as the scoreboard lights up,
You see my friends we're on a quest to win the Lucky Ladies Cup,
Although sometimes we get nailed for hooking, roughing & also tripping,
You will seldom see us with high sticks & you will never see us clipping,
We like to keep the penalty box empty, but we sure like those power plays,
Cause our defence & wingers leave our opponents in a daze,
We pay attention to checking & we all thrive to the sound of a slap shot,
Even the legendary Gordie Howe said "Wow those girls are hot!"
So come on out & support us & chase away the Gary Bettman blues,

We had a whole mish mash of weather today.... sun, clouds, rain, sn*w, hail, rainbows - everything!!! The wind was a little strong on the water too, but all in all it was a good day.... we got the boat winterized and the batteries are all out and in storage for the winter... I can't wait until boating season again!!!
