Cell Phone Etiquette
For anyone who has traveled, particularly on a train...
After a tiring day, a commuter settled down in her seat and closed her eyes.
As the train rolled out of the station, the guy sitting next to her pulled out his cell phone and started talking in a loud voice, "Hi
sweetheart. It's Eric. I'm on the train."
"Yes, I know it's the 6:30 and not the 4:30, but I had a long meeting."
"No, honey, not with that blonde from the accounts office. It was with the boss."
"No sweetheart, you're the only one in my life."
"Yes, I'm sure, cross my heart."
Fifteen minutes later, he was still talking loudly. When the young woman sitting next to him had enough, she leaned over and said into the phone, "Eric, hang up the phone and come back to bed."
Eric doesn't use his cell phone in public any longer.

Wow, that feels better. I just vented on Facebook. I don't want to get political on here, though. This is a very social social network.
One of my old poems about nothing & I am feeling in a ranting & raving mood, but I think it is best for me to hold my tongue as they say. I do hope you are all ready for the weekend.
This is a poem about nothing at all,
It’s not about birds or trees that grow tall,
It’s not about caring or falling in love,
It’s not about essence or thoughts from above,
It’s not about time that passes us by,
It’s not about situations which we all deny,
It’s not about women, who get too analytical,
It’s nothing newsworthy or slightly political,
It’s not about guys,
Who sometimes tell lies?
It’s nothing of substance or thought provoking,
It’s rather bland & contains no joking,
It’s not about people or any of life’s labours,
It’s not about the Leafs or the Buffalo Sabres,
It’s a bit of a gamble,
But I do tend to ramble,
So I’ll come back on another day,
When I can think of something that is noble to say.
1345 ===>miss you
