last night was the christmas party for the bar/pool league, was a great time .this morning phone just rang lost a best friend, i only have a few. f**king cancer. sorry guys but was his best man, golfing buddy, he just retired worked all his life and never did wrong, luckily i was there sunday. i hate this sh*t

Once upon a time there were a group of folks, who gathered on a thread,
They discussed many topics, & covered a range that went from “A” to “Zed”,
Some of the people would click! click! click!..
& the words would appear so quick! quick! quick!,
Some would pop in, and then pop out in a flash,
They couldn’t stay long, guess they had to dash,
Really nice pictures to keep us in touch,
With some of the places that we once loved so much,
The music has propelled us to where we are at,
Did you ever think that back then, it would lead to a chat?
Those are the days that we’ve left behind,
That’s why it’s nice to come here & kinda unwind,
We keep it social, respectful & post with tact,
& your spelling or grammar need not be exact,
When a “Q” contest begins we can cheer from the bleachers,
As routing for one another on here, is one of our best features,
Another year to chalk up, as another year awaits in the wings,
& we'll just take it day by day, whatever it brings,
Some of us find that venting here is therapeutic & soothing,
So, I'm guessing we'll be staying here for more chatting & a'grooving!
